The difference between GPS and a map

A photographer visited me, her first trip to Western Oklahoma. She found her way here, although her GPS had given out on her. I gave her a state map, and encouraged her to drive by a few cool things, like the Glass Mountains and the Little Sahara, on her way home.

The GPS is for getting there. But maps are for wandering. And sometimes you want to wander.
