Selling family land

Pasture 073
A photo of my father's ranch, from his photo collection.

Carpe Factum is having to sell his family land. He is facing the idea of being practical rather than emotional about it, in Land for sale...Sort of.

I commented, "It's not easy. My brother, sister and I are in the process of selling my father's land. He had big visions, big plans. And he accomplished a lot. But no one who buys it will be carrying Dad's plans forward. They'll be starting their own dreams and plans. And I've finally decided that's OK."

The land is a catalyst for dreams, for generations. Our dreams come, and go. We make them a reality or not. But the land is still here, and it passes on to a new generation of dreamers.
