|You are not "no one important."|
I interrupted and shared with the "big name" a few of the cool things the young woman had told me she does.
After the "big name" moved on, I couldn't hold it in any longer. "You will never introduce yourself that way again. Never." I told her how she would introduce herself, including one or two of the coolest things she was working on, things that would open lines for further conversation. I have no idea if she took that advice or not.
I don't care who you are, or whether you have a "big name" or not. You are not "no one important."
You rock, Becky. You are so great at encouraging people. I love that you told her that. You are right. I hope she listens to you. :-)ReplyDelete
